Well, I thought it was a tough week in week 6 and I was right. Wish my picks would have been more right. Going 7-7 for the week stinks and I need to bounce back strong this week to redeem myself. For the season, I now sit at a very disappointing 54-37. Something has to give and while I feel pretty good about the picks for week 7, there are a couple I have doubts about.

Here are my week 7 NFL game predictions:

San Francisco 23, Seattle 13
Minnesota 30, Arizona 20
Houston 24, Baltimore 17
Indianapolis 21, Cleveland 17
Dallas 31, Carolina 27
Green Bay 27, St. Louis 20
New Orleans 35, Tampa Bay 31
Buffalo 24, Tennessee 20
NY Giants 27, Washington 21
Oakland 23, Jacksonville 21
New England 38, NY Jets 24
Cincinnati 24, Pittsburgh 21
Chicago 23, Detroit 17

There you have it; my week 7 NFL game predictions.

My Survivor Pool Lock for week 6 came through. Barely. Atlanta squeaked by Oakland to help make me 4-2 in the locks. Here are each week's picks to date:

Week 1 (W; 27-23) Detroit over St. Louis
Week 2 (L; 18-20) New England over Arizona
Week 3 (L; 24-27) New Orleans over Kansas City
Week 4 (W; 38-14) Houston over Tennessee
Week 5 (W; 45-3) San Francisco over Buffalo
Week 6 (W; 23-20) Atlanta over Oakland

Keeping in the Survivor Pool tradition of not taking a team more than once in a season, I can't take any team chosen in a prior week. That hurts this week as my favorite game for it would be New England over the Jets. But I used New England (poorly as it turned out back in week 2) and they are off the board for me. The team the Patriots lost to that week is actually the team I'm going to pick against again this week. Maybe it will kick start the Cardinals back onto a new winning streak as I seem to be pretty bad with the locks this season. But the Vikings are always tough at home, and memories of last season's 28 point first quarter by Minnesota against Arizona are still vivid in my mind. I know it's a new season, but the Vikings just present themselves as the best bet of the bunch to choose from.

My Survivor Pool Lock for Week 7 is: the Minnesota Vikings over the Arizona Cardinals.

Good luck Russ!

Vikings 30? No one has scored more than 21 on the Cards this year. I hope Ponder is involved, I need the points.

I haven't taken NE yet, so I'll take them for a lock. Hopefully they don't blow it earlier this year when everybody took them vs the Cards.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
