I'm not comfortable with Romo or Cutler. Would it be a good trade for me if I give up P Harvin and W Mcgahee for RG3 or am I giving up too much? I'm afraid I'm buying RG3 too high.

WAYYYYYY tooo much. Harvin for RG3 straight up at the most. If you could give Rodgers and Dez I would like it better. Harvin is too involved in the offense to get rid of him. Personally I don't give up harvin at all, Dez and Mcgahee at MOST, but that is still too much to me when you have two VERY servicable qbs on your roster and can play the matchups.

What if I got Leshore and RG3? Also, these guys are my 4th RB behind R Bush, Murray, and Rice and I can only play 2 (no flex).

I don't have Rodgers anymore either I dropped him to get Felix Jones but can't figure out how to update my signature.

U don't need Leshoure, but u will need another WR or TE . I would try to deal Bryant and would not trade harvin

I also have J Simpson with M Floyd available on waivers for some reason. I have a bid in to pick him up- I could increase the bid amount if needed.

I could ask for A Hernandez or V Davis instead of Leshore, but I'd rather have a 4th running back than a 5th WR so asking for a WR/TE doesn't seem prudent.

I have to say I would do this deal in a second. Yes you are giving up a TON, but congrats for drafting so well and now put that depth to use. Get Leshoure back and give up your back up players to improve your starting line up. I agree that you need depth, but you have plenty even after the trade. Harvin is doing good, but he has not been getting in the end zone enough for me to consider him a true stud.

I would do this deal in a second, but to me its all about having enough to make your playoffs and then putting the best starting line up you can on the field when the playoffs hit.

That's what I thought at first until I saw these other opinions.

BTW- this wasn't all in the draft. I traded CJ Spiller in week 2 along with B Lloyd for Harvin and Mcgahee. The irony here is that this is the same guy. He wants Harvin and Mcgahee back. He also has D Brees so he's trading a backup.

Harvin for RGIII is a good trade, adding McGahee makes it pretty one sided in my opinion. Why not offer Harvin OR McGahee + Romo or Cutler so he has an adequate bye week or injury insurance at qb. I don't mind giving value to get value, but if you do make the trade, see if he will at least buy you dinner or give you a kiss. For those two guys, I'd look at the other top QB's teams and see who might be willing to move a Rodgers or Brady for Harivin or McGahee and Romo or Cutler.

He was also throwing in Leshoure- it's not just RG3. Regardless, I don't think he wants to do it. I had the trade offered and he hasn't accepted it. I just cancelled it though. I may try offering Harvin and Mcgahee for Brees since it doesn't seem like he wants to part with RG3 (and he's been starting RG3 over Brees).

Don't know how many ways to say Harvin AND McGahee is too much for a qb! Just my opinion.
