So, I pretty much have to win this week.

LA says Stafford (home against Sea) over Ponder (home Thurs Night vs Tampa) by less than a point.

My league is a little goofy and the QB is super important.

6 pts per touchdown, any touchdown.

10 yards=1 pt rushing.

50 yards passing=1 pt.

.5 per completion.

-.25 per incompletion.

-2.25 per inception.

*Fractional scoring in effect

I keep coming back to the fact that Sea this year is one of the hardest defenses on QBs (or in general) and Tampa is the 12th softest.

However, as Russ always says, its hard to sit my first round draft pick for a QB playing on Thursday night on a short week.

ANY help is much appreciated.

Ponder is coming off a real stinker, but the match up says to play him. Stafford's mechanics are poor at this time. Ponder is the safer play if you must win and has the higher upside vs the Bus D. Ponder but hard to trust either.

I would gamble and hope Stafford starts coming around. Plus, if Ponder puts in another dud, waiting for the rest of the games on Sunday could be torture..

I go Ponder this week. Had a tough game last week and has been making mistakes the past 3 weeks with 6 INTs. TBB hasn't really stopped any team though the air this year, if MIN doesn't rely on ADP and the run game, Ponder could put up some strong numbers tonight.

I go stafford. Detriot will likely be in a tight game and will pass the ball a ton. If they are behind at the end you will get all those cheap short completions at the end of the game. Ponder on the other hand could get up in their game and we know they would rather run the ball and throw only to set up the run if they get ahead. Go Stafford, more upside and they are built to pass.

Thanks for all the responses guys! I really appreciate it, you are all saying the exact things on both sides going through my head. Who knows, I may just flip a coin...
