I just picked up SD for week 9 before next week's waivers. Thinking a good choice due to KC being #1 for giving up fp's and Quinn named starter. Appears run D should slow Charles but their pass D is only so-so (but have gone against Brees, P. Manning, Ryan).

Only other options to even consider are DEN (@CIN), WASH (CAR), TB (@OAK), & CAR (@WASH). We do get 1pt/25 return yds & 6pts return TD's, bonus for opponent held under 200 ttl yds, and rest is standard scoring.

Any reason not to stay with SD and go with ?

Not that I can think of. SD has been a very good fantasy D most weeks and the sweet matchup makes them a great choice.

I agree with the Russ and would stick with SD. Good pick up.

Figure I'll stick with them though having lowered expectations from them. I see Quinn lasted about 1 quarter and Cassel came back in so likely the starter for week 9. Also looked like Richardson was run steadily due to the weather and wonder if Charles can do the same... Would suspect a somewhat more balanced attack from KC but think this week's game emphasized some weaknesses...
