So lesoon learned on taking a WR number one, Hes killing me in my pool. Drives me nuts when i bench a player and they get 12 and he get 3 or 4 lol, whats your thoughts on benching him?

My other WR are getting more than 5 pts a week, with Megatron in its always a nail bitter.

The Madden curse is on Megatron lol

I have heard the same complaint from 2 other owners who got stuck in the dubious position of having to take a WR in round 1. Tough break this season, but there are still 8 games to go and Megatron could go boom. Like many other big named players I don't believe you can leave him on your bench, you gotta roll with him or try to deal him. Personally I couldn't bench him. I am in a similar situation with Fitzgerald, drafted in round 3. I can't bench him, he is my WR1 and I must role with him (as well as Andre Johnson in HOU) both are struggling and I have better WRs on my bench scoring more points. It will probably be my undoing, but I am taking a big risk for hopefully a big reward.

I can understand your frustration, I have the same problem in one league. But I can't say I wouldn't draft a WR in the first round ever again. There are busts in the first round every year and has nothing to do with the WR position. Look at this year... CJ2k underperform, McFadden underperform, Forte injury, Murray injury. Heck I remember last year Cody taking something like 2 or 3 WR in the first few rounds including round 1 and he was kicking butt all year.

As for sitting him I probably couldn't do it. He is just one of those guys who can go off. I would point out that yeah the last two weeks have been rough, but overall Megatron has considerable more points 63 than the nearest of Brown at 46 in ESPN standard scoring. Not round 1 performance by any means, but not worth benching for your other guys. I am hoping that Stafford heats up, becuase it is also him that has been terrible. I am not sure how you can overthrow a 6'5" CJ so much.

With only 5/6 weeks of fantasy football left, I TRADED HIM!

BTW - Megatron is on the cover this year. The Madden Curse is FULL EFFECT!

Its a kick in the balls to trade him away. It hurts to trade a WR who should perform at a high level and he's not. Period. No one can tell him that he is worth keeping on my bench, let alone on my team. Look at the stats. S Moss is catching more balls, more TDs, and almost as many points as Megatron.

Of course, you can throw out another good #1 WR on his team out, but why. Does not change the fact that he is not producing.

Watch, here comes the Browner curse. I trade him away and he BLOWS UP! In fact, the team I trade him to will most likely play me in the first round of playoffs. Megatron will be the player that gets him the win.

Oh well, I don't care. Maddem curse in full effect............ Just like when I had Fitz while on the cover, Hillis as well. I for one believe in the Maddem curse. EA should stop puting players pictures on the cover for one year. I bet my house, the top player they would have put on there has a great season.

Read he is still hurt, just like the Maddem curse. Keep the pain all season.

I'm out!

Fitzgerald has been as big a bust. My computer autodrafted Fitz for me at pick #18 when I could've had AP and many other wonderful options. Fitz was actually on my do-not-draft list, because of the situation in Arizona. So I have had to play with the Fitz bomb all year too. I actually sat Fitzgerald last week and D. Moore outscored him 15-5, sad.
