1per20 yds pass, 4per pass td, 1per10 yds rush or rec, 1perReception

I have at qb

Cam and Ponder

at RB

Forte, Reggie Bush, Martin,Forsett, and Tanner

Analizer says no effect on starting line-up, and negligable impact on roster....

Sorry guys thought I put Donald Brown in the header, realize now that I didn't......

I would trade Cam and Doug Martin for Brees and Donald Brown......

Cam has such an easy schedule going forward, and I'm really worried about Martin losing Carl Nicks.......

Brees is definitely an upgrade at qb. If you can start 3 RB's, then I don't make the trade. It would help to see your entire roster, scoring system, and starting requirements. If you have quality wr's to start at flex, then it could work. If not, then the delta increase from Brees to Cam might be lost with Martin included in the trade.

We start a qb,2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te, 1 k, 1 d....

My roster is

QB- Cam, Ponder

RB- Forte, Reggie Bush, Doug Martin, Blount, Forsett,P.Tanner

WR- Harvin,Cobb,Decker,Stevie Johnson,Avery

TE-Graham

D- Seahawks,Cards

K- Hauschka.

It's hard to turn Brees down, but I'm really leaning toward not doing it....

After looking at your entire roster, I take my chances with Cam and Martin. As much as I like the upgrade to Brees and was trying to find a way to make it work, it has some significant risks. If you lose either Forte or Bush to injury, the trade hurts your starting lineup more than the addition of Brees helps. Maybe I'm too conservative, but the upgrade at qb isn't worth the gamble. You would have to start DBrown as your rb2 and he is now in a timeshare with Ballard.

I agree with you, I feel there's to much risk at rb. Just hate to turn down Brees! Needed someone else's take on the trade to see if they felt the same way!

Thanks for your input.

I guess I am more of a risk taker. I think I would do the deal. I have no faith in Cam posting solid numbers and you are getting the a huge upgrade at QB. There is no reason to think that Brees will slow down this year. They seem to be behind all the time and throwing all over the place. Martin had a great game, which is the only reason you are getting this offer. Sell HIGH on Martin and take the risk that could win it all for you.
