Is that a fair trade? I just don't feel comfortable with Romo and Cutler anymore. Or do you see another alternative to get RG3?
----
QB: M Ryan
RB: Bernard, Vereen, J Hill, A Bradshaw, T Mason, J Randle
WR: C Johnson, D Thomas, J Gordan
TE J Cameron

Start- 1QB, 2RB, 2WR/TE, 1 TE,

PPR Scoring (but yardage is worth 1/2 of rushing)
1pt/25yards and 5pt/TD passing (-2 INT),
1pt/10yards and 6pt/TD rushing.
1pt/20yards and 6pt/TD receiving.

If you can get RGIII for Reggie, I would make the trade. You have enough RB depth to make it work. Why not throw in Romo or Cutler and get him to give you a RB2 in return.

Start 1-QB, 2-WR, 2-RB, 1-TE, 1-WR/RB/TE, 1-K, 1-D

12 Team PPR League 0.25 pts/completion 1 pt/rec 1 pt 10 yds rushing & receiving 6 pts TD, 1 pt 25 yds/ passing 4 pts passing TD, -2 fumble, -2 int

Unless the other team has packed it in, I don't see this trade happening! I would try what O1P said!

I think it makes it more lopsided to throw in Cutler/Romo and expect a RB2 along with RG3.

Anyway, I suspect I won't get him for R Bush either. What about offering D Murray + F Jones + Cutler/Romo for RG3 and CJ Spiller. Or am I giving up too much?

BTW- he's in 2nd place (behind me) and has D Brees. So he's looking to dump a backup player in exchange for running back help. And I'm really the only guy who doesn't have a top 10 QB with some RB depth.

Have you made an offer or are you just speculating? Make an offer and let him counter. You might be surprised at what he is willing to take. If you give him 2 for 1, he has to drop someone to clear a roster spot and that is the guy who he could include in the trade back to you. I always make that offer when I need to give 2 for 1. Give me the guy you are going to drop to add the extra player. Who knows, the player may be valuable to you and if not just drop him. If he is, at least you don't have to fight for him on waivers with the rest of the league or waste a ww pick.

He just countered with R Mendenhall, A Hernandez, and RG3 for Romo, R Bush, and D Bryant. What do you think?

Done deal. You dont start Bush and should be starting Harvin over Dez anyhow, you still have some depth with Floyd and McGahee and you are upgrading from Romo to RG3. Accept this faster than he can think it through and withdrawl it.

Keeper League- start 2Qb, 2Rbs, 3Wrs, TE, DEF, K, and 2 FLEX (Wr/Rb/TE).
Roster:
QBS: Brees, Roethlisberger, Locker
RBS: Rice, MJD, Matthews, McFadden, Mendenhall, Hillis, D Richardson, Pierce, Goodson
WRS: Wallace, Nicks, Maclin, Harvin
TES: Gronkowski,
K: Akers
DEF: NE

I was thinking I'd be starting Dez over Harvin. Especially if you look at the remaining schedule for both teams. I'd like to counter with Harvin, Romo, and Bush and possibly try to get F Jackson instead of Mendenhal

Either way you should come out ahead. RG3 has great matchups during the playoff weeks - 14 - 16. The rest of the trade is pretty much bench players.

Why is it that every year someone wants to get rid of Harvin? I'd drop Floyd or Bryant in a heartbeat for Harvin regardless of the matchup!
