With Murray out for awhile longer and losing some game shape, Spiller sharing time, and DWill essentially benched (and not traded), thinking time to shed DWill for someone else. Looking more for potential than a spot starter (except maybe week 11?).

Thomas appears to have worked into more of a timeshare. Hunter has more potential but mostly only if Gore gets injured. Tate in similar boat as Hunter, but is injured and HOU just brought in Grimes at least temporarily. Both Gore and Foster have had their "dings" but still going...

Can't see DWill worth keeping unless others are of less value. Also am keeping 4 QB's because of Qb flex, Weeden hurting a bit and want depth, and Sanchez best of what's left on waivers - so likely keeping Sanchez for now unless... Am leaning towards Thomas only due to his appearing to share some time and getting short yardage...

One added choice - Ronnie Brown was just dropped...some value but mostly only if Mathews is out (and I lose out if someone else goes for him in next week's waivers).

Hate to say it, but it looks like Ronnie Brown is the 3rd down back in SD and with Rivers struggling, he is thowing a lot of check downs. If you want a high upside, Hunter is the guy but that as you pointed out has to be because of an injury to Gore. Brown is the best week to week option for 6-12 points. Not sure about Thomas yet, since he is in a similar position to last year when Bush took over and pushed him aside. Tate if healthy could be OK in a mop up role, but how can you depend on that. DWill??? I don't even trust Stewart and he has been named the primary.

Lol - I held onto DWill thinking he may do something or be traded, but seems to be the time to dump him. May be jumping the gun, but the word seems to be that Thomas will now get the short yardage carries. Would think also some change of pace carries too.

My problem is I have to make my picks before Sunday's games - if someone does enough to get interest, I'm low man on the waiver wire these past weeks. Not complaining mind you!

Any other thoughts? Gut is saying dump DWill and go for Thomas for now. Can always try for Ronnie Brown next week on waivers. Mostly don't want to make a move for sake of a move, if any chance of DWill finding new motivation & performing better.
