Week 9 was a lot kinder to me than week 8 was. I went 12-2 in week 9, bringing my season stands to 85-47. I could use a couple of 12-2 weeks or better to get me closer to the goal of 70% by season's end. We'll see if I can get there. Here are my week 12 NFL game predictions:

Indianapolis 21, Jacksonville 13
Atlanta 35, New Orleans 28
New England 45, Buffalo 24
Denver 31, Carolina 21
Detroit 24, Minnesota 19
NY Giants 27, Cincinnati 24
Baltimore 31, Oakland 23
Tampa Bay 24, San Diego 17
Miami 20, Tennessee 17
Seattle 23, NY Jets 10
Dallas 28, Philadelphia 27
San Francisco 30, St. Louis 17
Houston 24, Chicago 23
Pittsburgh 27, Kansas City 10

There you have it: my week 10 NFL game predictions.

My Survivor Pool Lock for Week 9 came thru, although San Diego did their level best to give the game to the Chiefs thru 3 quarters. The Chargers came thru 31-13 and that makes me 7-2 now for the season. Here are the weekly picks and results:

Week 1 (W; 27-23) Detroit over St. Louis
Week 2 (L; 18-20) New England over Arizona
Week 3 (L; 24-27) New Orleans over Kansas City
Week 4 (W; 38-14) Houston over Tennessee
Week 5 (W; 45-3) San Francisco over Buffalo
Week 6 (W; 23-20) Atlanta over Oakland
Week 7 (W; 21-14) Minnesota over Arizona
Week 8 (W; 24-15) Green Bay over Jacksonville
Week 9 (W; 31-13) San Diego over Kansas City

I always stick true to the tradition of Survivor Pools and won't take a team I've used in a prior week. While that means no taking New England over Buffalo, or San Francisco over St. Louis, there are still a few good ones to choose from. Baltimore and Indianapolis are both tempting. And while I have a bigger point margin predicted for Pittsburgh, I just really like the Seahawks at home. They've been very good defensively, and Marshawn Lynch is still in beast mode. The Jets have been helter-skelter this season and this could come back to bite me, but I just don't see the Jets being up to the task this week travelling across the country. They lack identity and consistency on offense and the Seahawks should keep them down.

My Survivor Pool Lock for Week 10 is: the Seattle Seahawks over the New York Jets.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
