Hey Guys,

I have been having issues in my leagues with trades. I'm in two leagues this year and have won both of them. One of the I am the current champ and in the other I won in 2010 and came in 2nd place last year. So like most people here you know that there are differnt types of owners. There the ones that never trade regardless of there situation. And theres the ones that want to trade you two or three bench players for your first and second rounders. Then its the guy that likes his Nfl team and likes to trade for players on that them. But there are some owners that look at value, upside and schedule. I have tried to trade with all of them and cant get anything done. Both of my leagues are though yahoo and this year they have this trade evaluator which shows projected stats for the rest of the season. I have been offering trades that yahoos tools says would be more beneficial for the other owner. And they still will not accept them. Do you guys have this problem and If not what is your trade strategy when targeting players?

Wow, No advice guys? I think I'm pretty good for a deep playoff run in my 16 team league but was trying to makes some moves for better match ups. I've offered up almost everyone on my team at some point this season except for Ryan and Forster. With no takers worth even considering. Any advice is welcome.

Can you give us an example of a trade, will make it easier to determine value and how to entice a trade.

My last trade attempt was Palmer and B. Myers for Witten. This guy is really weak at QB with Vick and Hasselback and have a 3 and 6 record.

Was this before Vick went out with a concussion? If not he should have been all over this and you may be giving up to much!

Also if he is 3-6 in a 16 team league, are you sure he is still active?

This was before Vick was out and he has been changing his line up every week.

Unless you are so high on Witten, I think you have an amazing team for a 16 team league and let the offers come to you! I wouldn't change a thing.

its just how it goes. People want something for nothing. I have a league that i'm fighting for the last playoff spot and hurting for RB. So i looked around and found someone stacked with RB and offered him Calvin johnson for Chris johnson. Chris was his Flex position player. To fill the empty spots i also offered him Fred Jackson (my #2) for his #4 receiver who i think was James jones.

He declined and counter offered and wanted my number 1 RB alfred morris instead of fred jackson.
