Well, opening day my brother and I walked down the trail to our spots, he said, "Isn't this where you ususally walk in at", I said, No, so he walked in and I continued down the trail, suddenly realizing that the sun was coming up and I had definetly passed my spot, so I found what looked to be a good area to walk in at, as the sun came up, I felt good about the spot I was in as I was 20 yards next to a stand of pine trees.

About 10:30am I heard some whimpering and whinning coming from the pines and suddenly realized I was next to a coyotes den!

I made my way back down the trail early as I didn't feel like meeting mama and the rest of the gang. Later that night we were eating dinner back at camp, sitting around an open fire and heard about a half mile down the trail the coyotes carrying on.

Deer have been very thin and the coyote population seems to have been growing, spoke with some farmers who said they are getting bad and killing some of their calves.

Needless to say, the deer that are there are still running, but I only saw the tail of one running up the hill.

The rest of the guys are still down there and hoping someone gets one, no one got one last year which is odd because we usually take 1 or 2 out of there each year.

Thanks for asking!

“I am advancing to the championship game in both of my leagues and I believe a lot of the credit goes to those of you in this forum and the many tools that we have access to”. (Ron 3 year member)

“This site greatly helped me make it through this year in both my leagues and all the great help from other members thanks very much fellas!” (Courtney first year member)

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
