Am 5-5 and need to make a run for the playoffs which may mean that I have to gamble some weeks. Have had MJD and Sproles out with injuries and have not had much luck with Jennings and Redman (well only 1 week). Hoping that MJD and Sproles can come back and if not Richardson could fill in for Jennings and Redman starting with Ridley, which means that I need to start 3 wr's

WR's aren't bad, (Wallace, Hartline, SJohnson, and Titus Young) but not great and with Big Ben's injury I am concerned about my wr1, Wallace, and TE Miller. Miller may be better than Wallace with the sub qb, but who knows. No options on the ww at TE that I am comfortable with, so will have to ride with Miller.

In looking at the ww, DAlexander seems to have the largest upside of the wr's on the wire. Others include Avery, Gordon, and Kerley.

Should I drop a rb for Alexander and if so which one, Jennings or Redman. Most sites are still high on Jennings since he is still the starter in Jax.

Should I drop both RB's and pick up Alexander and one of the others? Are any of the others better options than Alexander. I'm focusing on Alexander since if he has another good game, I probably don't get him.

Put Rivers on the trade block, but even though guys need qb's, no takers. They probably know me well enough to know that I may drop him for depth at some time, but would like to hang onto him until the playoffs to see who may or may not need qb help before the drop. Trade deadline is this Friday.

Alexander has been good but when you look closely at him he has had only 11 targets in three games, he just has made the most of them. Will they increase? Maybe, maybe not.

I would waive Richardson or Rivers though if you are in desperate need for him. But it is a major gamble playing with only one QB.

Thanks for the input, why Richardson instead of Redman who is most likely going to be the 3rd back at Pitt when Mendy returns. With SJax moving on next year, will DRich not get increased touches once the Rams are out of the playoff picture?

I am not going to drop Rivers until after the playoffs are decided, since some of the teams are in real need of QB's with the injuries and dropping him will make them better which may cost me the playoffs for a wr that may not start. I'm trying to strengthen my bench in case of injury without giving an opponent an opportunity to get better. One of the guys just picked up and has to play Weeden. I am fighting for a playoff spot with him and had mcuh rather he play Weeden than Rivers.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
