Need to start one of the three. NON- PPR

Shorts, D. Alexander or Avery?

LA says D. Alexander. Yahoo says avery.

I am leaving towards Avery - but I think Alexander could put up big numbers as the number two in San Diego in a game they will trail. Champ bailey will shut down M. Floyd - leaving Alexander to have a big day. On avery - New England has a porous pass defense. Doubt I play shorts. What do you think - avery or Alexander in a non-ppr game?

As much as I don't want to say it, I gotta say you run out Alexander. He has put together 2 good games since joining SD. He is always an injury risk with the knees, but SD needs to have success in the passing game to have any chance vs DEN this weekend.

Shorts has a tough match up, so it is between Alexander and Avery. Alexander has the high upside, so he gets the start from me on upside.

Yes, very little value in Chiefs players outside of Charles. I still start Alexander

Hmmm. Avery and Alexander over bowe? La and yahoo think highly of bowe. I may sit bowe...against the statistical models. Bowe has done very little since week four

If KC has success in the passing game, it usually goes through Bowe, but Cassel wasn't all that successful in the passing game the last 3 weeks and Quinn wasn't the answer either. I can't look to Bowe as a viable option right now.

Throwball - thanks for the comments. Bowe is obviously not a top tier choice - but my options are not the greatest. I think I will go with Avery and D. Alexander and leave Bowe on bench. Avery gets a bunch of targets but cannot get into the end zone - but I think I will go with him against the Patriots. Should be a high scoring affair and luck is getting better and better. Alexander is a roll of the dice. A roll of the dice might be better than the bowe/cassell connection. Against pittsburgh - the chiefs almost refused to pass the ball - sure they will try the same today against cincy. They only threw last week when the had to. Sure Charles and Hillis will get the chance to get the rushing game going - big time.
