Saint Defense not that great on paper. Environment is everything, I just gave Luck over Rivers, here it is tougher I think Kaep's legs will come in good use in this game, I need to go with home QB and start Rivers

The world is in love with Kap. He made some great throws last week to covered receiviers. I just wonder how much patience SF will have with him when he gets a couple of those picked off? Hard to trust either play. Roll of the dice. At least you know that Rivers is going to finish the game no matter how he plays, so that makes him the safer start.

Too much hype (especially here in the bay area) for the love they are showing Kaepernick. He had part of 1 game, which he showed very well. Not sure SF will stop the NOS offenese, which means Kap would need to match Brees stride for stride. Not sure he he will do that. It is a huge game. Rivers hasn't been great this year, but looks to have turned the corner again with 3 multi-TD games in his last 3 including 1 300+ yard game. As Michael and O1P said, you know what you get in Rivers.

Count me as the lone voice for Kaepernick. I have always liked Kaepernick and thought he was going to make a solid pro. With a great matchup, I think he can keep it close with the Saints. You do know what you're getting with Rivers: incosnsitency. I would roll the dice with kaepernick myself, but it's a risk to be sure.

I may have to drop Freeman for Kaepernick on my 2nd team, depending on how Kaepernick does today.Freeman was kind of steady but blah today.

Boomhauer!! I don't know, Kaepernick is 3 for 3 with a 7 yard TD run, looking pretty good so far.
