in the past the "Thank You" post comes about two weeks later as I have been fortunate to win the last two years in a competitive (10) team league thanks in part to Fantasy Starters Football.

As we all know if you play Fantasy Football long enough you can spin things a million different ways to find senerios where you just as easily could have won when you lost. The joy and frustration of Fantasy Football.

I look forward to chating with all of you again when another Fantasy Football season is upon us. Plus for those of you still competiting in your playoffs Good Luck.

I'm 50/50 about coming back, but it has been nice chatting with you this season.

The forums are what makes this site. The tools are excellent and as is often pointed out, if you are right 60% of the time, you are a top expert. Thanks for the kind words James and sorry that this year wasn't a better year. I limped into the playoffs and drew the high scoring team for my first round and beat him by 20 points. Next up is the second highest scoring team.

Funny you mention high scoring team. I was the high scoring team in our league and closed 4 out of the final 5 weeks as the top scoring team.

I had the foresight like years past to pick up favorable defenses. I had Seattle last week that got me (46)+ and had the Lions this week had I gone on to the next round.

I made the unfortunate decision to start FJax of Sproles.....I thought FJAX was the safe play and with being projected to win by some (40) pts to my opponent I figured it didn't make sense to gamble. I started Dalton over Romo and of course started AJ Green. I didn't see the play but heard AJ dropped a sure TD on a slant near the endzone. If he catches that pass worse case the combination of Dalton and AJ get me (10) pts and the win.

I feel your pain. I chose to sit Wallace with Big Ben's coming back from injury, Ridley against the Houston D, and Stevie Johnson with his hammy issue. Almost cost me the win and most likley would have if Alexander, Brady, and Sproles had not had above avg games. I got almost nothing from Brown, Hilton, and Givens. Started them because I felt like I needed to hit a homerum to win against a high scoring team. He had not had a bad game all year but picked this week to have it. Lucky me.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
