Lost third place and finished out of the money. Played my opponent 1 time during the regular season and it was the week that he traded for Schaub and Schaub went off for 47 points. This week, he was scrambling for a RB and he picked up Grant at the last minute and started him, 25 points. He had been starting Beanie who put up -1.7 points. Had he not made the change, then I would have had a winner. Some guys are just luckier than others, although my team underperformed as has been the case most of the year. Wallace and Stevie were awful.

In looking at the teams in the finals, in our league, the results were mixed as to what was the better draft strategy. The team with the best record was the team with Brees and the highest scroing team was the team with Rodgers, both 1st round picks.

The only team with a top 5 RB in the draft to make the finals had Ray Rice. The teams with the better wr's on teams with the better qb's played better weekly. Teams who had solid qb play - Brady, Rodgers, RGIII, Ryan, PManning, Newton (last 6 games) seemed to be the more consistent performers. Brees, Brady, Kaep, and Schaub made it to the finals.

Not sure how I will draft next year. The guys with Foster, McCoy, and McFadden were watching the playoffs. AP was a steal this year with his injury.

In looking at the final numbers in my league and picking 100 points as the reference - the 15-16th best rb, wr, and te was separated by approximately 100 points from the best in my league. the 9th best qb was 100 points (aproximately) behind the best qb. Does that make it more imperative that you grab a top qb early, since the drop off is steeper?

Very difficult fantasy year. Looks like the qb first round worked best in my league.

I am working on a story for my leagues. It's interesting this year and very unconventional for a few teams.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
