Coach Swartz said today that Reggie Bush could catch as many as 80 passes this next season.

PPR owners take notice!!!!

I would wait for training camp to see what happens. LeShoure will be the bell cow and Bush might be just a situational or third down pass catching back like Sproles.

Or will he? Just too early to tell yet.

I think Leshoure has featured RB skills, but it seems the Lions disagree as they signed Bush and have done nothing but talk him up. Even Nate Burleson was talking up how huge an acquisition Bush is for the Lions and how much he'll help. Maybe the achilles injury Leshoure suffered as a rookie is going to prevent him from realizing his full potential.

As for Bush, he's finished each of the last 2 seasons in Miami as a top 15 ppr RB. Last year in Detroit, Joique Bell, Leshoure, and Kevin Smith combined for 96 receptions. I think Bush can easily get 60+ along with 170+ rushing attempts.

You need another quality RB and unfortunately so does this guy. But I would at least try. He may be a little worried about Wilson in a possible sophomore slump and having no other backup. I'd float him Josh Freeman, Ahmad Bradshaw (sell him on Bradshaw just waiting fr the first big training camp injury; tell him about Eddie Lacy's toe in Green Bay), and Lance Moore in exchange for Reggie Bush, Ryan Fitzpatrick (who is now a backup QB in the NFL anyway and just a throw in here), and Santana Moss. Moss, like Moore, probably isn't starting for you any weeks over the other 3 WR's you have. You really aren't starting Freeman over Ryan. You likely won't be able to trust Bradshaw. It's worth a shot

Looks like the Lions will go with Bush as the starter for now. If you take Bush you might want to handcuff him to Leshoure though.

We will see what happens in training camp.
