I'm in a MFL draft only best ball league and I got stuck with the #11 pick so I took Alfred Morris. I'm thinking because it is a draft only best ball league that maybe I should draft Helu as a handcuff, but with Shanahan as head coach that seems to be a risky handcuff. What do you think? My other RB are Gore, Sproles, and Lamichael James. It' a PPR league and start 2 each week, plus a Flex. Other avail RBs are Zach Stacy, Knowshon Moreno, Jonathan Dwyer.

I would rather have Dwyer than James. Gore used to be a PPR back but now he is a ground pounder. Same with Morris. That might hurt you a little of those guys don't get into the end zone on a consistent basis. But if they do, you should be allright.

I don't like James because of Hunter. Too soon to tell so watch them in training camp to see who wins out Gore's backup slot.

Even though Pittsburgh drafted a rookie RB, I still think Dwyer will get lots of playing time.

Sproles is hit and miss. I know that Saints coach will re-committ to the run. Sproles can mass some big games still.

It's going to be a matchup problem all year unlesss you can flex an extra RB each week.

How many players overall on the roster? I'm not even sure Helu is going to make the final roster this season. Of the names you mentioned, I like Zac Stacy best easily. He has lower level competition in front of him and is the only RB with goal line size in St. Louis of the 3 serious contenders for the primary RB job.

ya Russ I ended up pulling the trigger on Stacy and another guy took Helu... It's a 20 round draft. Nearly complete now. My strategy was to focus on RB early and then load up on receivers. Again, it's PPR and I have Emmanuel Sanders, Blackmon, Givens, Stevie Johnson, Greg Little and Torrey Smith. I'm feeling pretty good about Hernandez at TE. I have Cam Newton and Bradford as my QB's, and hoping to take Locker or Ponder this round (17th) just in case Newton is out during Bradford's bye. Drafting from the 11 spot was tough, I feel like I have few studs but a lot of good depth.

WOW....I would never want to draft this early. Too, too, too many unknown variables at this point.
