This might be the year to take Tony Romo. He has one of the easiest schedules of just about any top QB in the league.

Home: New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams.

Away: New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints.

You can get him later than most of the other top QB's. He will need an improved offensive line protecting him. And no one knows yet if they will be any better then they were last year.

Romo is almost undervalued every year as he may not be a great NFL QB, but he has proven to be amongst the near elite fantasy QB's. I wrote about that in my blog when previewing the NFC East QB situations.

I still take Romo over a large contingent of QBs in the NFL. I dont' think he gets the credit he deserves in big D, but he is usually a solid performer. I have him as a low Tier 2, high Tier 3 QB. He is usually a top 10 QB if he stays healthy.

If your draft strategy is take a QB later be strong at RB and REC (mine usually is many years not grabbing a QB till 5th round) then Romo if there is a great choice.

I don't build a team around him but great value late if that's your strategy.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
