I need keeper help please. We are able to keep two players, and keep them maximum of twice (3 seasons) Then they have to go back into the draft pool. If you don't keep 2 and only keep 1 or none, you draft in two supplemental rounds at the beginning of the draft. So basically the first two rounds are either keepers or supplemental picks. Last season I kept foster and Calvin Johnson, so I can only keep either of them one more time. I have the third pick in the draft and it is a 12 team league Serpentine draft after the two supplemental rounds which are 1-12 and 1-12.

6 points for al tds (passing, rushing, receiving)

.1 per yard rushing and receiving (1pt per 10)

.2 per 5 yds passing (1pt per 25)

.2 per reception (1pt per 5)

my rooster from 2012 of any value:

qb: luck, rivers

rb: foster, spiller

wr: Calvin Johnson, dez Bryant, nicks, shorts

te: Dreesen, pitta

i am thinking of keeping foster and spiller and taking a solid WR with my first pick in round 3.

please help! What do you think? AP will be kept, Rodgers will be available if someone doesn't get to him before me (which I am sure they will).

I keep Foster and Megatron. Both top anchor players in the RB and WR position.

I was originally thinking foster and Calvin Johnson too, but though if I kept foster and spiller I would have two of the top 8 RB's and get a solid WR with the third pick, probably not megatron, but possibly Bryant or Marshall or somebody of that top 5 quality. If I keep foster and megatolie most likely the top 8-12 RB's will be gone by the time I get my first pick.

I think you win most of the time by balance of power in your different positions on your lineup. The key here is to get the best possible players in the WR and RB slots. Sure, you might have a great backfield, but what about the other positions on your team? It's just something to consider.

I don't think that is a bad choice to take Foster and Spiller. But letting Megatron go, who is a major force to contend with on the field and can take over a game is a mistake.

Plus, I am not as high on Spiller as everyone else is this year. There are major questions at the QB position in Buffalo with Kolb and the rookie. This tells me that opposing defenses will stack that mediocre Bills line with 8 to 9 players in the box to stop Spiller. Since Spiller is more of a speed and pass catching threat, teams might stop him cold.

I would go with your gut feeling on this one.

Let Spiller go and keep Foster and Megatron, both top players at their respective positions. Gives you a nice balanced approach heading into the round 3
