In a 12 Team PPR for two leagues and I have the 4th and 5th pick respectively. Based on the E-Book Strategy (which I follow like gospel) tells me to take the highest ranking RB. At this point it looks like Charles. I know this may change but if it sticks to that I am hesitant to pick him. I really love Spiller in that spot and more confident in Spiller breaking out than Charles having a good year. Wanted to get your thoughts. Is Spiller worth the 4th or 5th pick or stay with E-Book Strategy and the RB that would be higher than Spiller? Thanks!

Both are good choices. But I like Charles here a little more. The pistol offense should make Charles a top pick in PPR. In this offense Smith will be passing a great deal to Charles, who will be at times, lined up as a receiver. I would not hesitate in taking him that early.

Spiller is a top pick only in PPR systems. The Bills will be a mess offensively. The QB situation is abysmal with Kolb and a rookie throwing the ball. That spells disaster for a run game. However, Spiller will get a lot of receptions.

I think they are both great picks for PPR. But I give an edge to Charles.

I agree with James, I was in your position last year and Charles didn't disappoint!

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
