Third year of a 14 team PPR keeper league...I own the second overall pick as well as the twelfth overall pick..my keepers are cam newton and Julio jones. available top players are Fitz, Cruz, Ridley, gore, Lamar miller, Andre Johnson, sproles...who would you take the second overall? I want to go running back but I'm not sure if any of those guys are worth it at that pick. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I don't think I waste a first rounder on Gore or Ridley. Might as well stack your WR studs and go with Fitz at the # 2 spot. That gives you a power house of a WR crew with Jones and Fitz. That will off-set your weak Rb crew.

Sproles might be there at # 12. Snag him or Ridley if either are there.

What other backs are available to you? How about Bush?

I would still grab Fitz, then grab Bush in the 12th. He should be there. The earliest I have seen Bush go in PPR is mid 2nd round. Then you might be able to grab Gore in the third. It's a gamble, but if Bush hits it big, you will have a powerful team.

Bush is headed for a great PPR season if he stays healthy. In fact, I would pick him over Sproles. Sproles' production is just too unpredictable.

Sproles drove me crazy on two leagues last year even though he was lights out in the fantasy playoffs.

Thanks a lot man I really appreciate it. My feelings are that if I have the two stud receivers it would offset the weaker backfield

I think James is spot on here. Fitz with your first pick and hope for Bush with your second.

Hypothetically, what if Fitz goes first overall? My buddy said he's not taking him but you can take that with a grain of salt..still go stud receiver? Andre or Cruz?

What top receivers are available in your league. Johnson and Cruz are second rounders.
