#3 pick, 12 teams standard scoring with 3 point bonus for 100 yd rush/receiving...feeling compelled to take Marshawn assuming AP and Foster go 1, 2.

I'll take some.

I grab Martin, Charles, T Rich, or Rice before Lynch.

I don't trust Foster at all in 2013. Ankle injuries/isues in OTA's and now back problems. Personally I like the upside of Tate more and the fact that you can get him in round (8)+ in a ten team league. For me.....

AP

Charles

Doug Martin

Lynch.....but couldn't blame you taking him with the 3rd pick as I think they are all close and with Harvin hurt he is once again the focal point of the offense.

Maybe I'm bitter for feeling Ray Rice cost me any chance at a 3 Peat in a competitive (10) team league as I took him with the # 2 overall pick....we pick names from a hat so the winner from the previous year doesn't automatically get the last pick.

He was average at best for my in 2012 with no real breakout games. I don't take Rice with a top 5 pick IMO.

Ditto on Arian...I would avoid him if he dropped to 3rd. Too much risk for me. I like Martin for consistency, but only five 100 yard games last year and one was week 17 against the resting Falcons...Lynch had ten 100 yard games last year and kicked it up a notch down the playoff stretch with four straight. Intrigued by Charles though...

The situation is different this year though. The Ravens lost most of their pass offense with Pitta and Boldin gone.

Rice and Pierce should have big production in PPR. I can understand why you would not want to take him in standard scoring though.

Lynch is a safe pick unless he gets busted again.... Off the field problems every year. He is so close to getting a lengthy suspension.

Don't believe the hype about Arian. He has been one of the most consistent fantasy players in years. These are just nagging injuries. The season is still a month away. I hope he does rest. Maybe he should eat a little meat?????

I am hoping more people feel that way so I can grab him with the # 9 overall pick this weekend in my first draft! But, the lowest I have seen him go in PPR mocks is fifth in the first round.

When it comes to Foster as we all know if you have a top (i.e. 4 or higher) pick you just can't miss on the pick or your fantasy season can just about be over before it has begun. The nagging injuries are building up. It kind of reminds me of Greg Jennings last year and the first time concussion issues he was having in the preseason. I told myself I'm staying away from him and I was glad I did or Andre Johnson the last couple of years when he couldn't seem to get any quality time in during the preseason and he let FF owners down that drafted him within the first two rounds if not the first round albeit he was a was beast the second half of 2012.

The lastest I have seen Foster go is about (5) with most mocks him going within the first (3). Again for me if I have a top 5 pick I go a different route than Foster and target Tate later thinking I just may have gotten a great 2 for 1 deal when Foster can't be counted upon by week 10 and is week to week. My draft to is coming up and with Foster's health likely to be cloudy even by then I just don't want to take the chance.

Martin would be the safest pick, consistent pts but four of his 5+100yd games came against somewhat weak D's. But Lynch was also very consistent with 10+100yd games, and when he goes into beast mode you can't stop him!

As for Rice, I agree with James, he will be the focal point of the offense, but without a clear cut safety valve to take the pressure off him, he will also be the focal point of all the defenses. He may not make it through the season?

James_119913; I am in agreement with your assessment of Foster and Lynch. I believe Foster will break down this year, being hobbled already is not a good sign for me. IM skipping Foster also.

Lynch I like this year and have ranked him over Foster
