18 round draft. 12 teams. 1.0 PPR. 1 point per ten yards receiving and rushing. All td's, including passing, are 6 points. Snake draft.

Here are the results of my first PPR draft.

1.9--RB Trent Richardson ( Can you believe Charles went 1.8?)

2.4-- RB.Reggie Bush-

3.9--WR L Fitzgerald- (Could not believe he was there this late!)

4.4-- RB- Demarco Murray- (Great value for a Rb# 3 in PPR. But can he stay healthy?)

5.9--WR P. Garcon- ( Riskiest pick of the draft. If he stays healthy, he should put up borderline WR # 1 numbers. But it's a great risk. Best PPR WR available)

6.4-- QB- T. Romo. (Easiest schedule of the top QB's. I had to take him here. Stafford and Colin K.... went right after Romo.)

7.9--RB D Richardson. (I took him rather than take a WR here. If he hits, I can use him as trade bait later on. Should get a lot of receptions if he can hold off Pead.)

8.4-- TE Owen Daniels. (Has to stay healthy.)

9.9-- WR Golden Tate- (Should put up decent numbers since Harvin is out. Perfect WR # 3 fit in PPR.)

10.4--QB Eli Manning-( Had to get a decent QB earlier than I wanted. Romo's o-line is weak and Manning provides great depth as a QB # 2.)

11.9-- WR Kendall Wright- (Is this the year he breaks out? I hope!)

12.4-- WR Brian Hartline- ("Heartbreak Hotel." Vincent Brown, who I was targeting was picked up right before this pick! But, I think Hartline will put up decent numbers since Wallace will be double-teamed often.)

13.9- WR Julian Edelman- ( Super sleeper pick. If he can stay healthy, Brady should go to him often. High risk, high reward pick.)

14.4 Texans Defense

15.9 Cardinals Defense--( Would have taken J. Bell to back up Bush here, but he went the pick before mine. Bummer!)

16.4- RB Zack Stacy--( I hope he is insurance for Richardson if he gets hurt.)

17.9 Kicker Josh Brown-- Giants

18.4- TE Rob Housler- Little risk here even if he bombs.)

There is such a drastic drop-off in RB's this year after round # 3. I think I will continue to grab 3 Rb's in the first 4 rounds. You can get great value late in the WR slots. Especially in PPR.

Just wanted you all to see what a RB heavy early draft might look like.

Already had an offer for Richardson. He has AP, but forgot to draft anymore starters. He offered me Gates and Bell, Bush's backup, for Richardson and Housler.

This cracks me up. Not trying to be preachy, but this is what happens when coaches don't pay attention to the draft board and become to enamered with WR's.

So, he has Cobb, Bowe, and D Thomas, I think I will counter with Richardson for Bowe. That will give me Bowe, Fitz, and Garcon.

This is funny!

I would grab a top WR and use as an anchor for that position. Let the other guys take the TE.

thanks. I also noticed that some drafts I had to take a rb in the third...rb/rb/rb/wr because all that was left were the d murray and ryan mathews in the third, i was still able to get a good wr in forth round.

Overall I think it looks pretty good James. Nice draft. Your WR's need to step up.. Fitz needs to be the Fitz of old, which I think he should be much better with Palmer and a better line in there. I like Garcon as well this year. I think your main issue is whether your guys can stay healthy. Richard, Murray, Garcon, Daniels all with decent injury historys. If they can stay healthy, I think you have a really good team.

MY hope is that Richardson hits it big in fantasy so I can trade him for a WR # 2. Then I should be okay.

I really think that Kendall Wright could easily put up WR # 2 numbers in PPR. He was my favorite pick.

On the TE position I will draft late everytime this year. The guys who are taking Witten and Graham early have terrible Rb and WR lineups.

James....why didn't you just pick Bowe instead of Richardson if that's who you're targeting in a trade. Surely Bowe wasn't drafted before Richardson, was he?

He picked up Bowe in the fourth. He has AP, D. Thomas, Cobb, and Bowe and Gronkowski.

But his other starting RB's are Powell, Tate, Lacy and Gerhart.

AP is not a PPR RB either.

Stick a fork in him. He is done.
