Hi All. Pretty new to FF. Purchased the E-Book, and followed the specific draft instructions for my 12 team league. I will also be drafting in a 14 team league, and wondered how to alter the draft strategy? Do not yet know my position. I know draft is a snake draft. Non PPR. Starters are: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1TE, 1 Def., 1 K, and 1 Flex. Was thinking of going RB/RB in first two rounds, then getting top WR available, but wondered if I should go RB/WR, sinc regardless of my position, by the time I get to my third round, the better WR may be off the board. Any thoughts? Thanks.

RB/RB is the sound philosphy in a non-PPR draft

Thanks, Dana. My instinct is to just follow the plan Russ put out in the E-Book, even though the league is 14 teams deep. So RB/RB works.

I've played in 14 team leagues and what you do depends a lot on where you pick in the round. If at the beginning of round 1, always grab one of the elite RB's and then when it comes back to you, if even the second tier RB's are gone, take an elite WR (or RB if one fell through the cracks) and an elite QB. That way you at least have a nucleus of strong #1's at these three positions. If you pick towards the end of round 1, it's probably best to grab 2 RB's as by the time it gets back to you in round 3 (the 38th-42nd pick), at 20-25 RB's are off the board. Then you take a QB and WR with your 3rd and 4th round picks. After that the picks just kind of fall to you.

I agree with Dana. Heck, even in PPR drafts I am going 3 rb's in the first 4 rounds.
