I currently have the following WR's on my team (PPR):

Marshall (Chi)

Decker (Den)

Fitzgerald (Arz)

Johnson (Buf)

Lafell (Car)

Sidney Rice is availble on waivers in my league...Should I drop Lafell and pick up Rice?

I believe Rice is much better WR3 than Lafell.

Your thoughts.

Rice is a high risk/ high reward player in PPR now that Harvin might be out most of the season. If he can stay healthy he can do big damage.

Everyone keeps waiting for LaFell to do something but he is just too inconsistent for me to even take a gamble on.

I would take a shot at Rice as my WR #5 and cross my fingers.

I will keep LaFell as James says everyone keeps waiting for him to do something so there must be something there and you know when you drop him for an oft injured, coming off a knee procedure guy is when he will break out, I'd take my chance on the third year Wide receiver.

Jesse, I am inclined to agree with Dana on this one. There is a reason you have LaFell and Rice is on waivers. LaFell is healthy and if Cam is to have a breakout season like is projected, he is going to have to throw to someone other than Smith. LaFell is a good value pick in the draft because he goes so late, you will never play him until the bye weeks unless he does pan out and if he don't you can always drop him for someone else. Same can be said for Rice, you won't play him over your other receivers until maybe a bye but injury proned and could be out again by the time the byes kick in. Too much to worry about this early, your other WR's look good. I would focus on something else.

Honestly, I don't like either of em'.....lol..I would probably go after a really high reward type guy with your depth like a keenan allen or another preseason rookie sensation....

Much rather Rice than LaFell, but also might like another player more than Rice. But if it's just Rice or LaFell, I would want Rice.
