Can someone help me with the Draft Analyzer module? My league has a starting roster of QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, W/R, K, DEF, 6 bench players and one IR. I am not sure what to set for the maxumum players by position in the Draft Analyzer module. I have no restrictions of players by position on the etire roster - just the starting roster. Thank you.

I had the same issue, so I just put in the number of players I would like at that position at the end of the draft. QBx2, RBx5, WRx4, TEx2, Kx1, DEFx1. I dont know if this was right, but I had a okey draft for my 16 team league. Results are below. Hope this helps.
(Team 1)16 teams, ppr system, 1 point per reception, 6 point rushing receiving/passing TD, 1 point for 10 yard rushing and 15 yards receiving

(Team 2)12 teams, ppr system, 1 point per reception, 6 point rushing receiving/passing TD, 1 point for 10 yard rushing and 10 yards receiving

I have read through some of the posts and I am a little confused as well. It looks great though and if I can figure out how to work it correctly I would not have any use for anything else. I can't tell how updated the results I am running are. What is the difference between running raw data analyzer and running the data analyzer? Everytime I go back into it the rounds in my draft keep resetting. That makes me a little nervous. Anyone else have that issue?

I have a 19 round draft - 19 roster spots

I set Draft analyzer

start QB 1 - RB 1 - WR 1 (2 flex spots RB/WR) 1 TE, 1 K ,1 DEF

I set my roster position I hold 3 QB - 6RB - 6WR - 2TE - 1K - 1 DEF. that sets my 19 positions

On the Line up Analyzer I set it up as follow

QB Min 1 Max 1

RB min 1 Max 3

WR min 1 Max 3

TE min1 max 1

K min1 max1

D min 1 max 1

The max number of players at every position should add up to the same amount of rounds in your draft.

In the original question, you have a 15 round draft (9 starters and 6 bench; I assume you do not all get to draft one injured guy to immediately place on IR).

I would want a max of 2 QB's, 5 RB's, 5 WR's, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 D. I have no intention of drafting a backup TE, K, or D at the expense of quality depth at the RB and WR position.

And actually, since I am not interested in the Value Based Draft system, I ignore those settings altogether when I run my Draft Analyzer. In the Tiering method, it doesn't matter how many rounds, how many teams, how many starters, etc. All that matters is the projected fantasy points. It's one of the reasons I much prefer Tiering and advocate it in the eBook.
On any given Sunday any fantasy team can beat another, only to still lose Monday night.
