Hello!

I'm in a league that let's me have two keepers. My options are:
*Doug Martin (7th round keeper)
*Victor Cruz (16th round keeper)
*Stevan Ridley (6th round keeper)
*Robert Griffin III (10th round keeper)
*Drew Brees (2nd round keeper)
*Frank Gore (4th round keeper)
*Ray Rice (1st round keeper)

Doug Martin seems like a no-brainer as a huge value 7th round keeper. Stevan Ridley and Victor Cruz look like pretty good options (Victor Cruz could be a very good long-term keeper for me). RG3 is risky for the upcoming season, but he could be a fantastic long-term keeper since I drafted him in the 10th round last year. I'm pretty certain that I'll stay away from Ray Rice, Frank Gore, and Drew Brees, but I included them just in case. Any thoughts?

I posted roster/scoring details for my league below. Thanks!

Given the value each provides in the round they can be taken it clearly comes down to the first 3 listed for me. WR depth is crazy good this year but getting Cruz in the 16th round is crazy good while your getting Ridley a good 4 rounds earlier as he's a 2nd round pick. However, with the RB depth lacking to being with and we aren't even taking into account all the RB's your competitors are likey to protect my hunch tells me to protect Martin and Ridley as that gives you two solid/stud RB's. I also assume you are starting a flex position and I tend to like that to be a RB.

Taking all of this into account and figuring with your first pick you will still have access to all of the quality rookie RB's out there I would protect Martin and Ridley myself.

Even better in your post is if you look at your competitors and list the (2-3) players they are likely to protect and add those (18-27) players that might even help us more in providing you advice.

Not me Martin and Rice provide a solid...pencil them in every week RB tandem...that's who I'd keep.

I'd go with the value here and take Martin and Ridley. Rice is an excellent keeper, but 1st round is where he should be going and he isn't a full 5 rounds better than Ridley (imo).

This is a league that will probably still be going a few years down the road. So I'm thinking about future years as well. A few of these guys could give me fantastic value for years (especially Cruz, maybe even RG3...probably Ridley). I actually listed them in the original post in the order of value I was thinking at first.

Other guys' keepers: Adrian Peterson, Arian Foster, Calvin Johnson, Marshawn Lynch, Jamaal Charles, Cam Newton, Peyton Manning, Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas, Matt Ryan, A.J. Green, Matt Schaub, C.J. Spiller, Jimmy Graham, Alfred Morris.

Id go Martin and Cruz based on value and available RBs left based on the other teams keepers... you can still pick up a decent Rb1 or 2 Rb2s and notto mention both have long term value at their respective positions.
