In one of the weakest years for running backs that I can remember, one of the best rules to follow out of Russ's E-book is that you must have 4 running backs by round # 8.

This is very important since you will most likely suffer an injury or two on your running back squad.

Here is something I did tonight in a slow draft. This is just an example.

I have Martin and Bush as my # 1 and # 2 rb's drafted in the first two rounds.

I then picked up G. Bernard in the 6th round, then handcuffed Green Ellis to him in round # 8, so if Martin goes down I have an instant starter from Cincy plugged in. Either Bernard( Who I really like) or Green Ellis.

I then took J. Bell as my last back. He is the pass catching handcuff to Bush if he should get injured. He is a very capable back on a high potent offense.

Think about the RB's you want to draft BEFORE YOU DRAFT. Try and pick Running backs with good handcuffs if they should get injured and don't worry about overdrafting receivers and TE's.

Just a tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL!

Just remember to stay away from McFadden and you will do fine.

So James, drafting in the 12 spot at 13 would you take a WR or Bush? PPR

Hi Glenn,

Best available RB at the spot.

I have been getting Bush in the second round of PPR drafts the last two days.

I got Rice and Bush and Spiller and Bush with my first two picks in PPR drafts. Both drafts I'm in the 5th spot. Fitz and Cobb were there in the third round to grab as anchors. 12 team leagues. One guy drafted Dez with his1.8 pick. One guy took Graham at the 1.6 spot.

I was shocked at that!

Graham went in the first in a REAL draft or a Mock???? And I am ALL OVER McFadden in the first, Ryan Mathews in the second...

Yep. Real draft. This is a high dollar league too! Can't wait to see what kind of team he has at the end.
