I have Aaron Rodgers & Matt Stafford. I have a rule that I always start my studs regardless of matchups. however Rodgers is facing a tough 49er's def. and Stafford plays the Vikes. PLEASE HELP

I think I could never sit Rodgers. The 49er's are not that strong at pass defense in the secondary. However, the Packers lost their best offensive lineman in Bulaga so expect them to blitz the Packers early to test the line. Rodgers has the quickest release among the top QB's, so he might really take advantage of a 49er blitz. And since the Pack will not be able to run against the 49er's, Rodgers will be throwing all game long.

This is going to be difficult all year long to decide between the two, but for the first couple of games I stick with Rodgers, the best QB in the league.

tom, thanx but our league is very QB heavy as far as scoring and I have a strong team so if Stafford is on my bench he's not scoring points for my opponents. Plus that's good insurance.

Rodgers starts unles he's hurt on bye...I don't like your scenario I would trade Stafford and get a QB a tier down from hime otherwise you are going to play the matchup game every weeks and that's a receipe for failure.

I as a Vikings fan who will be at the game would tell you otherwise....I've seen the preseason and the Vikings secondary is the weak spot. Stafford will gets tons of easy dump offs to bush and we don't have a corner capable of defending Calvin. I see a high scoring game for Detroit and they will do it mostly through the air(unfortunately for me)
