So I guess this is my year, after never getting #1 picks I got two this year. One in the FFS league, already drafted.

So the question is should I trade out of the second? I really don't want to end up with basically the same team in two drafts. If so where would you trade to?

Nic,

I'm a gap guy...so obviously with the first pick it's a long time till you draft your second. So the question if you trade down based on the scoring system you'll still be taking a back but how far PPW do you fall?

It's pretty obviuos I'm not a bid Spiller fan so I would be looking at Foster, Richardson, Forte etc. but if you shorten the gap it maybe worth it.

I've done allot of draft postion swapinging but I would also think give ing someone argugaly the best beck in the field should be worth an extra pick as well.

Were it me I'd do someth ing like swap draft postions in the first round from number 1 to number 3 or 4, swap draft postions in the second as well and try to hget heir 4th. Basically you are giving up you draft the first two rounds and wapping it with someone elses and getting an extra 4th or 5th round pick (basically a starter) IMO

Well if its a swap it would be the entire drafting position so you would just become the 3rd picker instead of the 4th it wouldn't be just the single pick.

Anyway its a moot point, I just looked up the rules (something I should have looked at way before this) and it says the swap has to be agreed to 48 hours in advance. Draft is tomorrow, so no go

But thanks for the response Michael. Yes I was thinking the 3rd pick, then I would be garanteed one of my top 3, AP, Martin, Rice.

Actually Nic, this is a rare opportunity, AP given but you don't want the same team you've already drafted! So look back at our draft and pick players you could have picked up that are just as good or players you think you should have picked. Won't help you in the FFS league, but at least you might finish 9th or 10th in this league(unless it is a 8 team league).

Good luck Buddy!!!

Well I am sure it won't be the exact same team. One different pick ahead of me can change the whole draft. AP could go off and that would be great, ofcourse he could also get hurt and bleep two out of 3 of my teams. I like to spread the love.

Well anyway since I can't trade anymore, I suppose if I really wanted to I could just not pick AP at the first spot. hmmm. its ridiculous though this year. I am in 3 leagues I ended up drafting 1, 1, 2!

I think you are better off staying at 1 and then if you want you could probably get a second rd rb (bush, ridley, david wilson, SJax, cj2k) and a 4th rd WR for JUST PETERSON, build some depth that way. Get a Hopkins or Thompkins as a wr in the 9-10 rd and trade peterson and that wr for another solid back and a really good wr (possibly Nicks, Andre Johnson, Torrey Smith, Garcon, Fitz, etc.....) with...call some people in advance and work the trade out prior to the draft, tell them who you want at the positions that they are picking. You can even announce the trade via texting during the hour prior to the picks.....you giv up 1 and 9 for 2 and 4.....

I would listen to Trick, I think he had the best draft in our league this year and should be the team to beat!

Hey Trick, what's this nar thing at the end of your name? Never noticed it before?

Glenn...quit with the "Bromance" Trick had a good draft he didn't have the best both Kap and Vick are question marks, one solid RB in Martin the rest are definate maybes, Julio is the WR that scares me and he's one of several options for Matty, TE is avaeage at best...sorry Trick...it's a solid team and contending team it's not the best team nor the best draft...calm yourself Glenn...take your medication!
