Which one to Start (only 1), standard scoring non ppr.

Ryan Mathews, Shane Vereen, Giovani Bernard

FFS has Ryan as the starter. Only one at Home against Texans.

I search other free sites and the edge is going towards Gio.

Last request,

Golden Tate, Cecil Shorts or Vincent Jackson (only 1)

FFS has Cecil Shorts, at Home against Chiefs

Is it good to give the Home team the advantage, at least the first week?

I look at Gabbert throwing to Cecil, Wilson throwing to Tate and Freeman throwing to Jackson as well as the DEF they're up against, KC, Car, NYJ

Anyone with a personal opinion to help me decide which way to go, any predictions, crytsal ball? Thanks for being here!

Sorry, 6 players, I added Vereen and Jackson as my other lowest starters per FFS in the choices in case someone had comments on these two.

I don't like it, but I start Mathews since he IS the starter for SD. The match up isn't good for Mathews, but he will have the opportunity to carry the rock (until he fumbles).

I would also start VJ for TB vs NYJ. Tate is on one of the worst passing teams in the NFL and hasn't proven himself yet in the NFL. Shorts makes a good case to start, but I don't like Gabbert at QB. The positive is, Blackmon is out to start the season, so Shorts might get some more looks. Still I would lean VJ as my other starter.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
