I was not sure if this guy was going to be a fantasy factor or not. And even if it is only one game, Edelman will be Amendola's replacement not Boyce who was second on the depth chart behind Amendola.

Brady loves to throw to him and with Amendola's continuing injury issues you should try to pick him up on your PPR team.

Looks like there are two mini Welker's on the team now.

He makes a great flex play.

Update:

Amendola is iffy for Thursday nights game. Edelman makes a good flex play here especially since Gronk is still out.

14 team league: 1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1- Flex W/R/T, 1-D, 1-K

6 for TD, 1-10, 1/2 pnt PPR.

I had last pick in draft so I am #1 waiver wire now. If I use it it will be a long time until I am up toward the top again.

QB: Eli and Vick

WR: Colston, Jordy, Rueben Rand, Vincent Brown

RB: Rice, Ridley, Vereen, Ingram, Helu

TE: Jared Cook

D & K week to week

Would you PU Edelman

No, because Vereen is going to be out at least 6 weeks now since he was placed on the short term PUP. You will need a RB. I grab Blount and waive Helu. If Ridley goes down you will have another RB # 1 in Blount.

Before you do, check the waiver for for RB's just to see who else is out there. I like your WR's and would not touch them.

The other thing you could do is waive a QB, grab Edelman, then use him as a flex. But he is a short term answer only until Amendola becomes healthy and when Gronk comes back he will take catches away from Edelman.

Well I have Amendola and I'd love to pick up Edelman but that means dropping M. Austin or A. Brown. This is a PPR league. Thoughts?

Depends on the rest of your receivers but I will tell you now, I would drop your worst player, either WR or Rb or back up TE to get Edelman since he is Amendola's backup the rest of the year and we know how injury prone he is.
