I play in a PPR league, and I currently have Matthew Stafford & Russell Wilson - I am wondering if I should drop Wilson to pickup another W/R or emerging player - am I missing out by keeping two QB's? Their bye weeks aren't until 9 & 12

pickup Edelman, Shorts, Moreno, Powell & drop Wilson?

current WR's: D. Thomas, V. Cruz, J. Jones, M. Williams

current RB's: C. Spillar, S. Ridley, M. Jones-Drew, M. Ingram

Guess I am old school when it comes to backing up every position on my roster, yes even kicker. It's one of the few things I have not changed over 30 years of playing this game. I believe owners should carry a back up QB all season long.

In the past I have written a few articles (Aaron Rodgers: Why We Draft Backups & Injuries: Act Now or Pay Later) citing reasons why you need to carry more than 1 QB. While we are not even through the end of week 1 in the NFL, I believe you must stand pat and continue to have Wilson on the bench as your back up.

Just looking at your team, you have a strong set of WRs, so I don't believe you gain anything in picking up a player, just to add depth. Your RBs are a bit suspect after Spiller, now that Ridley couldn't hang onto the rock. I don't see Moreno or Powell improving your currrent group either.

So my opinion, hang on to Wilson, while I am not a strong support of the weak SEA passing game, he could be needed in the event you suffer an injury with Stafford.

You have to have a backup QB.
