Hi,

I'm not trying to be the posting police but FFS is setup in a fairly logcal layout It's impoprtant that you ask questions to the proper sections so that you get the responses you are looking for so in general here a some posting guidelines:

1st-ALWAYS ask your questions about your team in your own post or thread. If TBH starts a thread about Ryan Mathhews who is on his team....don't ask a question within his thread like "should I start Eli Manning this week". Start a new thread (post)

2nd- if you are going to ask a question about who should I start Player A or Player B it always helpful to one, know your scoring system, and two know your starting requirements and three, who each player is playing against that week. That way within one post we can have all the information we need to offer an opinion without having to look things up. You will notice in allot of out "Sigs" (signatures) we preset our scoring system and starting requirements this saves you allot of time and is easy to do. Many many of you play in multiple leagues so please don't set up an essay size signature with the 5-leagues and three scoring systems you use.

3rd- we don't have a seperate section for IDP leagues so Robert our resident expert in IDP hangs out in the General Forum ask any and all questions related to IDP in Roberts thread. He monitors it constantly.

So where do you post what:

GENERAL FORUM: it's non specfic questions about fantasy football in general it's more of a commentary forum. Where can I find weather information? Will Rex Ryan be fired? Do think TE Thomas in Denver is reality or mirage...that sort of thing.

LINEUP FORUM: All things lineup, who should I start, who should I bench, who should I play at FLEX etc.

TRADE FORUM: All things trades, should I trade RG III for Eli and Steve Smith etc.

DRAFT FORUM: All things draft related good for re-draft league questions mid season and pre-season draft questions othewise kinds moot during the season.

FREE AGENTS & WAIVER WIRE FORUM: All things transactional...should I drop this guy, should I pick up that guy etc.

TECHNINCAL FORUM: all things sorftware program centered or suggestion you'd like to see improvements on or features added.

The Moderators and Admin's have the ability to move posts to their proper forum so you may see that happen to your post if it's in the wrong forum...no disrespect intended just trying to get you the information you need. There are people here who specialize in the various sections or hang out more in them that's why it's imporatnt for you to post in the proper place.

For example myself I'm pretty much stay to the General and Lineup Forums. I just think it's more of my wheel house. (There are some that would debate that point!)

For those who have paid memebereships there are some outstanding tools available to you in the TOOLS tab. The two I use most in-season are the Line-up analazer (Commonly referred to as the LUA) and the Trade Analizer...these are great tools to HELP you make decsions. But all of them are valuable!

Finally- Russ Bliss has requested many times that you don't start a subject line with RUSS PLEASE ANSWER the reason being is allot of times if he doesn't respond to it nobody does and he doesn't want that to happen... we all want Russ's impute and he tries to get to as many posts as he can but putting that in the header doesn't help.

Russ has The Red Zone call in show TUE-THUR 6:00-7:00PM on KUDS AM 1060 that you can call in and ask questions and he does the show live at Santisi Brothers here in Phoenix and hangs around atleast an hour or more after the show. He would love to have you come out and introduce yourself, shake your hand and say thanks for your support and you can get some valauable 1:1 information right from the man myself!

OK so there it is the Drumaster's Posting Soapbox 2013...Good luck hope to see you later this month at Santisis's for FFS night on Thursday September 26th, 6:00 -9:00PM!

Rules? What are you a moderator or something?

Aside from my comments that is all great information for those newcomers to the FFS boards.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
