Topic: Fitzgerald vs James Jones Week 2

With Fitzgerald being a late game and a possible gametime decision, would it make sense to play James Jones with Rodgers expecting a good game. If Fitz doesn't go, I don't have anyone to replace him.

Unless there is positive news before the start of the first games on Fitz's availability I think you do run the risk of taking a goose egg from him. You might take your chance with Jones, since he is health. FWIW, Adam Schefter is reporting Fitz will play, but how big of a role we will have to wait and see.

That's what I was thinking also. Hoping that Jones just might join the party this week and put up some points. Half a loaf is better than none.

(10:45 am ET) Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is expected to play Sunday against the Lions in Week 2, despite being listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury, according to ESPN.com. Fitzgerald tweaked the injury during the week in practice, but should be able to play through the injury.
