Situtuation - 14 team NON- PPR league. We play two RB's and a Flex. MY RB's...are S-Jax (out), Darren Mcfadden, David Wilson, Pierre Thomas. I can start Mcfadden and Wilson....but that leaves me with no flex. The best Flex option I have on teh bench is Michael Flloyd of the cardinals (ouch!).

I am 2-0 mostly due to weak opponents - and take on about the worst team in the league this week. Right now I trail him in "projected points" by about 10...as I plugged in Wilson at RB and michael Floyd at Flex..and my qb (luck) pLays SF.

Would you burn the #4 waiver wire pick in a 14 team league on James Starks? I really have no one else to play.... Can go with Pierre Thomoas or MIchael floyd and hope for alot of "luck"....I need to win this week as I am playing one of the weaker teams... Thoughts??

My problem with Starks is, lacEY comes back and Starks is Worthless. I would feel better if Lacey blew out his knee for season I would grab Starks, but its not the case. I would wait and see the injuries that happen this Sunday and see if you could get a starters due to a more seriousness injury. I like m Floyd vs saints.

I agree...starks has blown his other chances..plus..Cincy is no pushover on D. The only other waiver wire player available in this league...for consideration of burning a slot...is Eddie Royal. Do not think I burn #4 in a 14 person league for eddie royal...although my receivers are Shorts and Steve Smith..Weak...and I need a flex with my RB's not doing well...

sure someone else on the back end of the 14 team league will grab royal. The guys at 13 and 14 on the wire pretty much grab everyone close to decent as they assume they will always be at the end of the waiver wire...

I wouldn't wasted a # 4 claim on Starks for the following reasons.

This week he gets the Bengals...then the Packers have a bye week when Lacy could easily come back.

I see the Packers throwning more than running in week 3.
