This is my 3rd year using this site BUT I was not able to get a membership before my draft, so I drafted blindly (using ESPN rankings)

My team needs some serious help, I'm 0-2 and going to be 0-3 at the end of this week. The injury bug has hit my team, I thought I had a good team during/after the draft but they aren't playing like it.

QB's: Tom Brady, Eli Manning

RB's:Alfred Morris, Bernard Pierce, Ray Rice (OUT), Lamar Miller, Ryan Mathews, Daryl Richardson, Willis McGahee, Shane Vereen (OUT)

WR's: Marques Colston, Brandon Marshall, Reggie Wayne, Hakeem Nicks, Julian Edelman

TE: Coby Fleener

D/ST: Vikings Defense (change this weekly based on matchups) K: Josh Brown

What are the areas I need to work on? Who should I try to target in a trade? Do I have any trade bait that I could use to better my team?

Anything?? Please Help!

Robert, your questions are too general and require a detailed analysis of your entire league to provide responses, which requires too much effort. You most likely would get more help by asking more specific questions. Additionally, without knowing your scoring system, it is difficult to give accurate advice. Edelman is a wr2 in ppr and a wr3/4 in non-ppr as an example.

Overall, you have a good team and once Rice is healthy, should be competitive. TE is your weakest position. Nicks has been underperforming.

Should be a competitive team.

You traded 3 starters for 1. I hope it works for you, but not sure I would have made the trade. My rule of thumb, the side with the least # of players usually gets the better of the deal.

The trade analyzer said MAKE THE TRADE!!! So I did. Cobb should score more points than Rice this year. The other team has already traded Colston away.

Hopefully Ridley will start playing well once the Pats get some players back and people have to start respecting thier passing game again.

Waiting to see if Alex Smith will ever throw the ball further than 10 yards, it's been killing Bowe.

We'll see what happens

My current roster looks like this:

QB: Brady
RB: Morris, L.Miller, Pierce, Matthews, Richardson, Ridley, Vereen (OUT)
WR: Marshall, Cobb, Hartline, Nicks, Edelman, Hopkins, Bowe
TE: Fleener

Looks like my weak point is now my RB's, I have 7 of them, just need 2 of them to play well. Morris is my best.

With the current disposable players I currently have, how good of a RB should I be able to target in a trade?

The TA uses historical data and it is difficult for it to adjust quickly to the current situation with Ridley and Bowe. Both today are match up starts, just my opinion, and Bowe in particular is struggling with Smith's conservative qb style and is no longer a wr1 which most likely the TA does based on it's data. Rice, Colston, and Wayne are weekly starters regardless of match up as is Cobb. Ridley could be if he gets his act together, but Bowe and Hopkins are match up starts this year.

Cobb could very well score more points than Rice, but so could Wayne and Colston.

Who you can get in trade will depend on 2 things. who with a RB1 needs a WR1 and if you are willing to give up Marshall or Cobb to get the RB1. You would have to be lucky for anyone to give up a rb1 for your dispoosable players, just my opinion.
