Hi there, Cam gets a bye this week, right after he finally had a good week ... lol.

I'm in a 10 team standard scoring league and I have Philip Rivers on my bench. Do I start him against Dallas?

There still are some QB's out there as free agents in my league such as Alex Smith (vs. Giants), Jay Cutler (@ Det), Andy Dalton (@ Cle) and Carson Palmer (@ TB).

Any thoughts ... thanks so much guys!

I'd probably roll the dice on Dalton myself. Dallas currently has a good pass rush and a decent secondary so I shy away from Rivers myself. Cleveland has Harden likely covering Green all day long but I think the Bengals will be passing to have success or worse case throwning short intermediate passes to Giovani Bernard.

I don't like Palmer getting the Buccaneers secondary.

Cutler can be great one week passing for (300) and the next week passing for just (180) so he is to up and down for my liking.

Smith has the best and most favorable matchup getting the realing Giants but he doesn't go down the field vertically and prefers the short passes so that concerns me.

Again Dalton for me but I couldn't blame you for taking a flyer on Smith and keeping your fingers crossed that he passes for (2) TD's.

Agree with James for the most part here...I lean a little more or would move Cutler up in the rankings however...he seemes to enjoy Trestman's offense

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
