Was thinking about countering a trade i got. Here was the orginal

I give ray rice and get benjarvus green-ellis, james jones, and willis mcgahee

I was now thinking of countering with ray rice and dwayne bowe for lynch, jones and mcgahee any thoughts?

My team:

qb: Peyton manning, jay cutler

rb: ray rice, stevan ridley, zac stacy, donald brown, montee ball, bernard pierce

wr: reggie wayne, steve smith, josh gordon, dwayne bowe

te: heath miller, owen daniels

In multi-player trades, you should also consider who you will need to drop to add the extra player. If the drop is = to the 3rd player in the trade, you are really trading 2 for 2 and should review the trade realizing that it is really a 2 for 2 trade. That is why, almost always but not in every trade, the team getting the fewest players has the better side of the trade. Most often, the extra players will only sit on the bench.

In your case, the trade really looks like Rice and Bowe for Lynch and Jones. Would you make that trade? I probably would. Lynch is only a slight downgrade to Rice and Jones is a huge upgrade to Bowe. If you want McGahee take him or you could hang onto Pierce and hope for a Rice injury.

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
