Happened to us last year. As commissioner, I made sure this year we instated a league vote which gives 1 day for each trade to go through. I also made sure all teams this year understood we have 2 people running the league and would be monitoring this heavily.

Last year was ugly when this happened and I sent out a vote of 3 options to choose from. I had to go in and change settings and scores to reflect the trade(s) that occured. I did not allow those 2 teams to retun this year.

Your team has to have integrity and morals of fairness as well.

Hope this helps.

We do a "trade committee as well." But ours is composed of the 1st 5th, and 10th place team for the given week of the trade in a 10 team league, and the 1st, 6th, and 12th in a 12 team league.

If one of the teams involced in the trade is one of the teams on the committee in standings for that week, they are replaced on the committee by the next team down in standings . . .

Yeah. We try to get top, middle, and bottom teams involved in the comittee so that would be what would happen, although it never has. We found that simply putting it to a leqague wide vote encourages teams to veto trades based on what it does to their own chances, rather than looking at the trade on its own merits . . . This seemed like the only logical way to do it . . .

“I am hosting one league on NFL.com as well. Personally I thing there projections are way out of sync and have been less than reliable. I completely ignored them all year and instead took input from the LA at FFS which has proven to be much more accurate”. (Hooked 5 year Member)
